Description

The Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Revs 2 and 3.0/3.1 normally use eight (8) RAM chips to hold program memory, which are out of production and increasingly difficult to find. In addition, a problem with just one of them can cause serious functional issues with the synth, and the bad chip can be difficult and tedious to narrow down because there are so many of them!

Our Memory Liberator board is a battery eliminator module that replaces ALL EIGHT of the original RAMs with the single modern ferroelectric RAM chip housed on our board.

This retrofit does require soldering of 2 wires to install.
