Using a single VCO derived from the legendary Yamaha GX-1, the SY-1 gives you a small slice of the classic analog Yamaha sound! While it was designed like many synths of it's day as an accompaniment for organists, the presets can be edited with options for the filter, pulse width, envelope and vibrato. The available preset sounds also cover a wide range from basic to more unconventional sounds ("Funny" is a listed preset.)
This particular unit includes a rare solid metal stand from Yamaha, as well as the branded keyboard cover and stand bag. Cosmetically the unit was very well taken care, with just a couple small marks etched into the front panel.
