With four voices, the Yamaha CS-50 is the smallest of the legendary family that encompasses the CS-50, CS-60 and CS-80,  and offers the same classic sound with the same exact voices.  If you love the Yamaha CS sound but not the huge size and price of the CS-60 and 80, this might be the sweet spot.

CONDITION / SERVICE DETAILS

We believe in transparency when selling “pro serviced” synths so always include documentation of what services every synth we sell has received. Our approach to servicing vintage instruments entails both making sure every synth is working 100% now, and eliminating common failure points to preempt future issues.

This unit received the following services while it was here with us:

  • Rebuilt power supply
  • Replaced CMOS logic chips, six 4558 op amps and five electrolytic capacitors
  • Replaced voice board trimmers
  • Calibrated to Yamaha factory specifications
