Description
The Moog Memorymoog PLUS relies on one of the biggest and stupidest batteries of any vintage synth, and no fewer than 8 aging RAM chips, to store its program (patch) and sequence memory. Our Memorymoog Plus “Memory Liberator” module has custom-designed assigning logic to allow all of this to be replaced by a single modern ferroelectric RAM chip that can hold its memory for decades with no need for battery backup.
Installation of this retrofit requires soldering of just one wire after plugging the Memory Liberator board into one of the original RAM sockets and replacing another IC with its attached ribbon cable.

Note: If you have a regular (non-“Plus”) Memorymoog, you need a different version of Memory Liberator, which you can find on this page.
